Keeping your kitchens running
See what we do. Understand why it matters. We are proud to take complete care of your kitchen maintenance. From planned maintenance and emergency callouts, supplying and installing new equipment to managing your estate digitally - we’ve got you covered.
We make every stage of our service visible - from the work completed by our technicians to the condition of your equipment and our recommendations. Clear evidence, clear explanations and no uncertainty.
Planned Maintenance
At the core of MCFT’s delivery model is a structured, compliance-first approach to planned preventative maintenance. All PPM activity is delivered in alignment with SFG20 maintenance standards, ensuring a robust, auditable and best-practice maintenance regime across the estate.
SFG20 is the UK industry standard for building and engineering maintenance, developed by the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA). It defines what maintenance tasks should be completed, how frequently they should occur, and the statutory or operational rationale behind them.
Aligning maintenance activity to SFG20 provides consistency across sites, clear evidence of compliance, and a defensible framework that supports audits, risk management and long-term asset performance.
Repairs and Emergencies
Digital Asset Management
Our customer portal IRIS offers you insights on spend, live and historic works, asset lifespan and more. One portal to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard and documented – you’re informed, compliant and reducing costs.
Our National Network of local, dependable technicians allows us to offer a 24/7 local response to our contracted customers, and we aim to mobilize the right person with the requisite skills.
Proud to support global manufacturers with warranty support. We collaborate with manufacturers to handle warranty-related issues and provide direct support for their clients, and tailored, transparent reporting to ensure full visibility of works and performance.
Equipment Sales
We’re impartial, knowledgeable and we remove the hassle, trusted by Global Manufacturers – Supplying new equipment, installing and maintaining it for its lifespan, then disposing of it when the time comes.
Warranty Support
-
MCFT combines locally delivered service with the resources, technical expertise and support network of an international maintenance provider.
Our catering and refrigeration engineers are directly employed by MCFT, rather than subcontracted, helping us provide greater consistency, accountability and familiarity across your sites. Wherever possible, customers work with dedicated local technicians who understand their equipment and operating environment.
We also provide dedicated account management, strong technical and customer service support, SFG20-aligned maintenance and access to IRIS, our online customer portal. This gives you clear visibility of your assets, service activity, maintenance history, costs and compliance documentation.
Our focus is not simply repairing equipment when it fails. We help customers reduce downtime, manage costs and extend the working life of their assets.
-

-
PPM stands for Planned Preventative Maintenance. It involves inspecting, testing, cleaning and servicing equipment at scheduled intervals, rather than waiting for it to break down.
A structured PPM programme can help identify developing problems earlier, reduce unexpected failures, improve equipment performance and extend asset life.
SFG20 is a recognised standard for building and asset maintenance. MCFT uses SFG20-aligned, equipment-specific maintenance schedules to provide a consistent and auditable approach across your estate.
Completed maintenance activity, service history and supporting documentation can be recorded within IRIS, helping your organisation maintain a clear compliance and audit trail.

Our maintenance programmes can be adapted around the different operational, compliance and service requirements of each industry.
-
Our pricing is tailored to the individual requirements of each customer rather than based on a one-size-fits-all package.
The cost of a maintenance agreement may depend on:
The number of sites
The number and type of assets
Equipment age and condition
Required PPM frequency
Operating hours
Response time requirements
Geographic coverage
Reporting and account management requirements
Any out-of-hours or emergency support required
Following an asset review or site survey, we provide a clear proposal setting out the agreed scope, service levels and costs.
Reactive repairs, replacement parts, new equipment and installation work can be quoted separately where they are not included within the agreed maintenance package.
-
The process starts with an initial conversation about your sites, equipment, current maintenance arrangements and service requirements.
Depending on the size and complexity of your estate, we may recommend a site survey or asset review. This allows us to understand the number, type, age and condition of your assets before developing a suitable maintenance proposal.
Once the service agreement has been confirmed, we will:
Set up your sites and assets within our systems.
Introduce your account management and support contacts.
Allocate appropriate local engineers.
Agree your maintenance schedule and service levels.
Provide access to the IRIS customer portal.
Begin the planned onboarding and maintenance programme.
Our team will support you throughout the transition from your existing provider.
