Our Approach

At MCFT, we recognise our responsibility to the environment and are committed to reducing our environmental impact through continuous improvement of our environmental performance. We recognise the importance of the wider community in all aspects of our activities and we endeavour to demonstrate accountability, transparency and ethical behaviour in all MCFT business practices.

ESG Report 2025

MCFT’s Annual ESG Report 2025 outlines MCFT's approach to environmental, social, and governance responsibilities across our UK operations. It explains how sustainability, ethical governance, employee development, health and safety, and community impact are embedded into the way we operate and grow, while also highlighting key achievements, performance data, and long-term commitments.

Our ESG Commitments for 2026

MCFT's 2026 ESG Commitments set out the actions and priorities that will guide our environmental, social and governance ambitions over the coming year. They outline how we will continue to strengthen our sustainability initiatives, support our people and communities, uphold responsible governance, and drive measurable progress through clear objectives and long-term accountability.

As a Food Equipment Service supplier dedicated to helping our community, we often come across second-hand equipment that’s too good to scrap and immediately begin looking for good causes that could do with a helping hand. All equipment is in working, tested condition – some may even be near-new. All have been recovered from loving homes, now lost, and in need of a new loving family.

Heart of England Forest

As part of our CSR programme, MCFT has set up a carbon offset programme to counterbalance some of the energy used in running the business. Our engineers are out on the road on a daily basis and we strive to compensate for their CO2 emissions as much as possible. MCFT donations have enabled Heart of England Forest to establish and manage 20.76 acres of Forest, which equates to 18,661 trees.

Since 2011, MCFT has donated over £56,000 and have been a dedicated friend of the Heart of England Forest. The forest stretches across Warwickshire in the heart of England – from the ancient Forest of Arden, south to the edge of the Vale of Evesham. It’s an area dense in cities, towns and industry, hence creating a place to walk under shady canopies and through airy glades, away from the bustle of city life.

In 2023 our donations were recognised when MCFT was awarded “Planting Partner” status. This level of support provides funding for the charity which enables the Heart of England Forest to drive progress forward, delivering tangible impact by helping grow the Forest, ensuring tree health and maintenance, optimising habitats that benefit the environment as well as wildlife, and supporting public access to enjoy the woodlands.
