Andrew Richman (UK & Ireland Managing Director) collecting the Catering Insight: Service & Maintenance Provider of the Year Award 2025 for MCFT.

We are proud to announce that MCFT has been named Service & Maintenance Provider of the Year at the 2025 Catering Insight Awards.

The award was collected by our UK & Ireland Managing Director, Andrew Richman, and recognises MCFT's continued commitment to delivering high-quality commercial kitchen maintenance and a transparent, world-class service to our customers.

Recognising Excellence in Service & Maintenance

The Catering Insight Service & Maintenance Provider of the Year award celebrates businesses leading the way in the repair, maintenance and servicing of commercial kitchens.

For MCFT, this recognition reflects an approach we have developed over more than 30 years: investing in our people, doing maintenance properly and giving our customers a dependable service delivered by skilled technicians based locally to the sites they support.

Our regional model means our technicians get to know their customers, their sites and their equipment. Combined with our focus on planned preventative maintenance, this allows us to help customers improve equipment reliability, reduce unnecessary call-outs and extend asset life cycles.

Proper Servicing, Delivered by Properly Trained People

Quality maintenance starts with competent technicians. Our Technical Academy plays a fundamental role in developing our people, combining practical, hands-on learning with continued technical development throughout their careers.

This investment allows us to develop highly skilled catering and refrigeration technicians who understand not only how to repair equipment when something goes wrong, but the importance of maintaining it correctly in the first place.

Our approach to planned maintenance is guided by SFG20, the recognised industry standard for maintenance specifications in the UK. It provides a clear scope of works and supports our commitment to being transparent and accountable about what we do, what we find and the service our customers receive.

A Team MCFT Achievement

Winning this award is ultimately recognition of the people delivering our service every day.

From our technicians out in the field to our Technical, Operations, Training, Customer Service and Support teams, everyone has a part to play in maintaining the standards our customers expect from MCFT.

We are incredibly proud to see that commitment recognised by the industry.

A huge thank you to Catering Insight, award sponsor Parts Town, everyone who voted for MCFT and, most importantly, our teams across the UK who continue to deliver for our customers every day.

Congratulations, Team MCFT!
