Business Insight At Reading University 


Our Managing Director, Mark, visited Reading University to help some 2nd year Business Management degree students with an exercise in “Understanding Sales” as part of their Entrepreneurship Module. The students spent over an hour talking to Mark about the sales process at MCFT and getting an experienced insight into what goes on behind sales in a business and how to maximise sales with best practice.

The questions centred around the steps of the sales process, new business and lead categorisation, sales value proposition and building up customer loyalty, customer management, customer complaints, measuring sales performance and many more. 

Quang, Phoebe, Ales and Antonio were very interested in the talk Mark gave and jumped at the opportunity to ask many questions and understand exactly how sales works within a business, especially an SME. 

Mark: “It was a really great exercise and all 4 students were actively involved in the process. We all enjoyed the session”.
