What is PPM, and why do I need it?

PPM or planned preventative maintenance is designed to keep your kitchen running smoothy, reduce call outs, improve efficiency and reliability and extend your assets’ life cycles. Our best in class, service visits – to SFG20 standard are something we feel few others can attest to.

Will PPM save me money?

If you spend £1000 on (proper) PPM do you save £1000 on break-downs? NO you won’t. That’s too simple a question – there are many more factors in play. In fact, overall you will save much, much more - many, many £1000’s

How much do you charge for PPM?

For an up to date quote the best option is for you to speak to our sales team, via the link here, who will arrange for one of our Business Development Managers to visit your site, put together an asset list and compile a plan to best suit your business needs.

How do I log a callout as a customer?

The simplest way for you to log a callout is via our customer portal IRIS. When you log a callout via IRIS, it goes directly to your allocated site engineer. Ensuring the quickest and smoothest response to your reactive breakdowns. You can login here

What if my equipment experiences issues out of hours?

At MCFT, we are always on hand to support you, we understand things go wrong and we want to be there to put them right. 

For non-urgent issues you can always log callouts 24/7 via IRIS


If you require emergency assistance our engineers are on call 24/7 - 365 days a year.

Our out of hours cover: Monday-Thursday: After 5pm | Friday: After 4pm | Saturday-Sunday: All day
