CSR has always been a massive part of our culture at MCFT. We’re trying our best to have a positive impact in the community and environment; we believe we do everything we can with the resources we have to positively affect the lives of those around us, from countering our CO2 footprint, to sponsoring our local football and rugby teams. We feel it is our duty to impact the communities in which we operate.
Another great exaple is the £3,700+ which we raised for various charities last year. These charities were picked by staff, making an impact with causes that are close to home. Furthermore, at the end of Q4 2018 we have raised over £7,000 for the Borne Charity through various physical activities and fundraisers.

As part of its CSR programme, MCFT has set up a carbon offset programme to counter balance some of the energy used in running the business. Our engineers are out on the road on a daily basis and we strive to compensate for their CO2 emissions as much as possible. MCFT has planted 6,730 trees over recent years, making the company fully carbon neutral.
Since 2011, MCFT has been a dedicated friend of the Heart of England Forest. The forest stretches across Warwickshire in the heart of England – from the ancient Forest of Arden, south to the edge of the Vale of Evesham. It’s an area dense in cities, towns and industry, hence creating a place to walk under shady canopies and through airy glades, away from the bustle of city life.

We want to impact the communities in which we operate. As stated above we have been able to impact local communities, but our greatest limitation to make a bigger impact is our restricted sphere of influence. Does your company have a CSR programme? Is there a possibility to help charities and local communities together?
As a Food Equipment Service supplier dedicated to helping their community, we often come across second-hand equipment that’s too good to scrap and immediately begin looking for good causes that could do with a helping hand.
All equipment is in working, tested condition – some may even be near new. All have been recovered from loving homes, now lost, and in need of a new loving family.
We escalate all equipment requests to our CSR committee to determine if we can meet the customer’s needs (and needs are sufficient) and will aim to respond with 3-5 working days.
