Chris Craggs, CEO
Chris grew up in France and Germany, working in hospitality in France for three years before spending 7 years with Trusthouse Forte in food & beverage management. Switching to the supply side, he joined catering equipment dealers CCA based in Maidenhead and gained a rapid understanding of the equipment market. Setting out in the teeth of the early nineties recession, he is passionate about building and creating opportunities for the team. Chris lives near Oxford and enjoys leisurely motorbiking and adventure travel.
Mark Brooker, Managing Director
Mark’s career has spanned sales & marketing and general management in sectors including banking, the automotive leasing sector, and electronic security. After a senior Sales and Marketing executive management role with daily rental player Europcar he became Managing Director for Chubb Electronic Security for Greater London, before moving to MCFT. He firmly believes in building high performance cultures and training & development and regularly gets involved in the wider development of people at MCFT. Mark hails from a village near Reading, is interested in most competitive team sports, and is a bit of a ‘dab hand’ in the kitchen, so he says!
George Roberts-Smith, Regional Director UAE
George joined MCFT in 2012 following a light spell at Southampton studying Engineering. He spent 3 years in the UK office overseeing a number of process improvement programmes (including the introduction of our tablet system) before packing his bags and heading out to the Middle East. Since arriving in Dubai George has overseen the opening of our offices in the UAE and Qatar and is now charged with the onward expansion of MCFT across the GCC. George’s focus on people and commitment to customer service are two of the main factors enabling MCFT to quickly find a following of customers in this new market.
Karen McDonagh, Development Director
Having spent most of her career within the franchise sector, Karen joined MCFT in the spring of 2017 to develop MCFT’s franchise model. She has also previously led operations and the people development side of businesses. Outside of her work life, Karen is passionate about helping those who are less fortunate and has been a trustee supporting the operation of Acton Homeless concern since 2013 near her west London home.
Jon Lightowler, Group Business Excellence Director
Jon has been employed in the facilities management arena for over 16 years having previously enjoyed a full career in HM Forces, serving in the Corps of Royal Military Police. He has a Masters Degree in Six Sigma Quality (Service) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. He has held similar positions in both Mitie and OCS cleaning divisions. Jon's focus is on Business Improvement and delivering our systems and processes in the most efficient and effective way possible whilst ensuring regulatory compliance. He is a keen motorcyclist and advanced apres skier and has a passion for Rugby Union. He frequently undertakes fund raising activities in support of Military charities.
Lee Williams, Operations Director
Lee has spent over thirty years working in Engineering based field workforces. After completing an Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Lee joined British Gas as a Graduate Engineer and gained chartered Gas Engineer status in the Gas Industry. He has also worked as Field Operations Director at large blue chip companies such as Sky Television and National Grid and over the last seven years has grown and transformed Operations divisions in field based SME’s. Lee’s key focus is to grow the Operations division to match MCFT’s ambitious growth plans whilst maintaining the very high customer service and safety standards currently delivered by MCFT. Lee loves to spend his free time with his family and loves cycling, running and swimming in the countryside and rivers of Berkshire and South Oxfordshire.
Neil Taylor, Sales and Marketing Director
Neil joined MCFT in early 2019 after spending most of his career delivering consistent revenue and profit growth within the Business Services sector. He has substantial experience of managing teams of sales and account managers in the courier industry with UPS and DHL and also with Iron Mountain, the US owned global leader in records management. He is passionate about building strong business relationships with partners and customers alike and likes nothing better than being out with his team visiting new and existing customers. Neil lives with his family nearby in Surrey and is a keen sports fan and enjoys travel and spending time with family and friends
