Christmas lunch in the intern house
In the spirit of the season, the apprentices, grads and interns from across the business got together to show Dutch intern, Maarten what a British Christmas lunch looks like!
Graduate Chris Dixon explains how it came about:
"We organised it for Maarten Groenendijk who briefly mentioned that he had never had an English Christmas dinner so we thought we would make a thing of it. Organised a week in advance everyone had to bring an element of the meal. Sam, Max and Maarten did the majority of the cooking while the rest where on cleaning up duty. Service desk apprentice George Banks likes to bake and he made a home made cheese cake (with a Dutch twist). We used the Intern house as a base and relaxed and watch the weekend football."
The intern house is owned by MCFT, and provides a convenient base for interns and graduates until they find permanent accommodation.
