Aaron's quick thinking saves the day
Driving round the M25 recently on routine business, trainee engineer Aaron was able to put his onboard equipment to good use to help a family in distress.
Travelling anti-clockwise around junction 23, he noticed some white smoke which then turned to black smoke. He says:
"I noticed a car on fire with a lady trying to get a baby out of the back of the car. I pulled over immediately and used my fire extuingisher to put out the fire. The engine was revving very very high constantly so I removed the keys from the ignition and it stopped. The family were thankfully fine and waited further down the hard shoulder for the authorities to turn up. I will get on to Klaudia about a replacement extinguisher!"
Thankfully although very shaken up, everybody was safe, and no doubt Aaron's actions prevented what could have been a very nasty incident.
