It’s clear to us that McFT is as good as the person answering the phone and the technician turning up in your kitchen. After that it's plain logic: every member of our team needs to be as prepared as they possibly can be - which is why we invest heavily in training and development.
We recruit interested, lively people with the social skills to enjoy working with customers and colleagues, and we ensure they have the skills to do the job including awareness of the market and the business we’re in.
The most qualified in the business
When our engineers turn up on your site, their ability to diagnose and fix a problem is crucial, so they go through a rigorous training programme which we believe is second to none. As well as the mandatory elements such as health and safety, they undergo manufacturer training, soft skills (dealing with people under pressure is a major element of their job), and industry qualifications.
"Waine was fantastic. He persevered with a very frustrating issue that we could not resolve - murky glasses. Our softener had been replaced, dishwasher hose and pump replaced. Then Waine attended site and tried a few other options and the problem still persisted. By using his own initiative and problem solving skills he finally solved an issue that has been a frustration of mine for the last 6 months! Thank you so much Waine, very much appreciated."
You can even check their qualifications before they arrive
All McFarlane Telfer engineers are registered with Competent Contractor, a contractor management service from Human Focus. This means that you can be confident from a security perspective – the engineer is who they claim to be. It also provides independent verification of their qualifications as it is all managed via Human Focus.
Job done competently and safely, first time.
