Chris, Mark, and Dan travelled across the pond to attend the IFMA World Workplace conference in beautiful San Diego.
At McFT we value our commitment to training and development. We are the first catering and refrigeration service business to seek and achieve the EngTech qualification for our technicians.
9 of our senior engineers have recently completed their registration; demonstrating their knowledge, skill, experience and problem-solving capability.
Needing additional room for our growing team, we have recently taken on double our existing office space and needed something to decorate the new white walls. We commissioned a celebratory piece from social enterprise ARTHOUSE Meath, an epilepsy charity, a cause close to owner and MD Chris Craggs' heart, having lost two siblings to deaths resulting from epileptic fits.
Members of the McFT Engineering Team have swopped the van - and traffic - for a bike as part of our ongoing FORS accreditation.
Recent FM Graduate Dan Geisel, now Business Improvement Manager at McFT, from Conestoga in Canada is joined by students Terence Horsman, from Hanze University, Groningen, the Netherlands, Emin Kaya from University of Aston in Birmingham (yes we do take UK students!) and Eline Waalwijk from NHTV University in Breda.
Lead Engineer Mark Hockley received his CFSP certificate from Simon Frost, Chair of CESA at Hotelympia on Wednesday 2nd March.
MCFT are delighted to announce that members of our Management Team will be speaking at a number of events throughout 2016.

McFT's Head Office suffered complete power failure as SSE had a line down on Wednesday – just at the entrance to Maidenhead Office Park. Around 10am, power was cut completely to the whole of the park (fellow inmates include Toys’rUS – luckily well after Christmas!). No simulated exercise – this is for real.
Will our deliberately simple DR contingency plan work??
