McFTs Operation Director, Alistair Collins takes on 969 Mile Cycle to raise money for the prostate project, over nine days he will cycle the route shown in the image below:
Rosie Bleazard will be walking 26.2 miles through London this Saturday Night, in a brightly decorated bra. She is part of a team of 6 called “The Treasured Chest”, which will be joined by 15,000 others to raise money for Breast Cancer charities.
Maidenhead United headed into their final game of the season needing a win to get promoted, the pressure was on for the local football team. After a devastating 2-1 loss to title contenders, Ebbsfleet United FC the week before, the pressure was on for the Magpies needing a win playing away at Margate to confirm the title. Maidenhead were able to clinch a comfortable 3-0 win against their opponent, leaving all the fans, including our very own Paul Brooker (Technical training lead) celebrating the great success of the team, storming the pitch at the final whistle.
Chris Pyle , one of a couple of dishwasher specilists in the business – with manufacturer technician time at both Hobart and Meiko, has held a number of additional dishwasher master-classes for our trainees and improvers. With the sun shining, his latest group of students were given the opportunity to undertake the session outside.
In January, a cohort of 6 trainee engineers joined McFT to embark on a 2 year development plan, during which time they will become fully trained as competent, professional engineers, able to meet the exacting standards required of a McFT engineer.
McFT began to provide its services nationally in 2015, with great success with our Northern and Midlands growing substantially.

Some of the young adults from Parkside made the journey from Aldershot to our head office in Maidenhead, to experience a day in the heart of our organisation. They had the opportunity to work alongside all of the departments and gain in-depth experience of working in a busy office.
McFT welcomed six new trainees on Monday 16th January - the first of two cohorts planned for this year. Ahead of them lies a couple of years of intensive training – mixing classroom with site experience – and mixing technical skills with soft skills – CQ anyone ? – along with commercial insights – from working safely to industry knowledge.
Dan and his team, along with Craig Atkins and the gang at 1-Fix who provide our hardware and systems support, have achieved our accreditation to the Government supported Cyber Essentials programme – the first stage of an externally-approved cyber security programme for 2017.
